arena foto paola

In Northern Italy Verona can be considered the town which preserves more remains of the old Romans’ Times, having been founded by them in the 1st c. B.C. , and by them provided of many prestigious monuments so much to be named as the “Rome of the North”.
This visit has been built up especially for those Grammar and Secundary School groups who deal with the topic in their ministerial Programms, but not only, even for adults interested in the subject of the classical ancient times.
The sightseeing consists partly in a walking tour and partly in a Bus Tour. Gavi Arch, Amphitheater Arena (interior visit, entrance fee), Borsari City Gate, the Decumanus Street, the Erbe Market Square (Forum), the Mosaics and the Excavations (actually closed for architectural renovation), the Signori Square, the Leoni Gate, the Stone Bridge, the Roman Theater and the Archaeological Museum. If no bus available, the tour can be reversed, skipping the Gavis’ Arch.
