What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files sent from a website to the interested terminal (usually the browser), where they are stored before being forwarded on to the site the next visit to the same user. Cookie Type
Cookies may be first- or third-party, where "first part" means the cookie that take as the domain the site, while "third party" means the cookies that are related to external domains.

• navigation cookie or session, which guarantee the normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to provide a purchase or authenticate to access restricted areas); they are in fact necessary for the proper functioning of the site;
• analytics cookies, similar to the technical cookies when used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, the number of users and how they visit the same site in order to improve site performance;
• functionality of cookies, that allow a user browsing the function of a set of selected criteria (for example, the language, the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the return to the same service. For the installation of these cookies you are not required the prior consent of the users (more info in the section of the bottom cookie management).
The profiling cookies are designed to create profiles on the user and are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the same part of surfing the net.
For the use of profiling cookies is required consent. According to the measure (more information in the section Managing bottom cookie) the user can authorize or refuse consent to the installation of cookies through the options provided in the section "Manage Cookies".
In the case of third-party cookies, the site does not have a direct control of individual cookies and can not control them (can not install nor directly or delete them). You can manage these cookies through the browser settings (follow the instructions below), or the sites mentioned in "Manage Cookies" section.

Cookie Duration
Cookies have a duration dictated by the expiration date (or specific action such as closing the browser) set on installation.
Cookies can be:

If consent has already been given, but you want to change your cookie permissions, you have to delete them via the browser, as shown below, because otherwise those already installed will not be removed. In particular, note that you can not in any way control the third-party cookies, so if you have already previously given your consent, you need to cancel cookies through the browser (section).

How to disable / delete cookies through browser
In Internet Explorer, click on "Tools" in the menu bar and then on the sub-item "Internet Options". Finally, access the "Privacy" tab settings to change your preferences regarding cookies.
On Firefox, click on "Tools" in the menu bar and then on the sub-item "Options". Finally access the voice settings "Privacy" to change your preferences regarding cookies.
Chrome, type "chrome: // settings / content" in the address bar (without quotation marks), and change the settings for cookies as you want.
On Safari, select "Preferences" and then choose "Privacy". Under Block Cookie specify how Safari must accept cookies from websites.
If you use Safari on portable devices such as iPhone and iPad, you must instead act in this way: to go on the "settings" of the device and then find "Safari" on the left menu. From here, under "Privacy & Security", you can manage the options Cookie.
